What kind of pickaxe is this? In August, the online game “Marvel’s Avengers” starts with its beta. There is a collaboration with Fortnite, where players can unlock Hulk gloves for free by participating in the Avengers beta.
Data miners already showed how the Hulk pickaxe could look in action when you use it in Fortnite. Additionally, there is another style variant of the Hulk gloves.
Unlock Hulk Smash – Here’s how
What do you need to do? To secure the Hulk gloves for free, you need to participate in the beta of Marvel’s Avengers. However, this is only possible for PS4 and Xbox One.

- Link your game accounts
You need to link your Epic account with the console and then link your Epic account with the Square Enix website
- Complete HARM challenges
Once you are in the beta, you need to complete 3 HARM challenges in Avengers

Step 1: Sign up for the beta
How does it work? To participate in the open beta, you can sign up on different dates. Simply download the beta from your console store at the given time and start the game.
To make sure it doesn’t cost you anything, you should participate in the open betas, as they are free. They take place as follows:
- August 14 to 16 – PS4 Open Beta for everyone, Xbox One only for pre-order customers
- August 21 to 23: Open Beta for PS4 and Xbox One
Step 2: Link your Epic account
How does it work? To receive your reward in Fortnite, you need to ensure that your Epic account is linked to PS4 or Xbox One. To do this, start Fortnite and select “Link accounts”. You will then receive a code that you must enter on the page: epic games activate.
Now you need to link your Epic account with the website https://membership.square-enix.com/campaigns/Epic. Once you’ve done both, you can start the beta.
Step 3: Complete HARM challenges
How does it work? Once you have completed all the steps, you can start with the Avengers beta. You should play the story until you complete the “Stormy Tundra” mission. This takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
After that, you will unlock the HARM room where you will find the challenges you need to complete for the Hulk gloves. You need to complete a total of 3.
You will receive a notification that you can now redeem the Hulk gloves in Fortnite. Once you log into Fortnite, the new cool pickaxe will be in your locker.
If you cannot participate in the beta, there is still a way to obtain the Hulk Smashers. The pickaxe will also be available in the item shop, but it will be paid.
