In Fortnite: Battle Royale there will be a skin of Beast Boy from the TV series “Teen Titans”. You can secure the Beast Boy skin in a tournament before it appears in the item shop. We will show you how to get Beast Boy for free.
What kind of skin is this? In Season 6, one of the founding members of DC’s Teen Titans came to the Fortnite island. In the Battle Pass of Season 6, there is Raven, known from the TV series. But Raven probably needs her partner, as “Beast Boy” is also coming to the Fortnite world next.
The Beast Boy skin comes with 2 different style variants and can transform into a gorilla with a built-in emote – a capability that defines the superhero from Teen Titans. In a tournament, you can get the new cool outfit for free.
How to get the Beast Boy skin for free
To earn the skin for free, you must participate in the Teen Titans Cup. We will show you how to get involved and what requirements must be met.
When does the cup take place? The Teen Titans Cup, which is a duo tournament, will take place on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
You have 3 hours to play a total of 10 matches and collect as many points as possible. In duos, you will compete in “normal” rounds against your opponents.
How to participate in the Teen Titans Cup
What do you need to do? Since this is a duo tournament, you first need a partner to participate in the tournament with you. However, anyone who wants to participate in the cup must meet the following conditions:
- The Fortnite account must be at least level 30
- You must have two-factor authentication enabled
Important: These conditions apply to both duo partners who participate in the tournament together and must be fulfilled by both.
What are the rewards?
What can you win for free? Those who can prove themselves in the cup will receive another skin for free. As mentioned above, the Beast Boy set is available to win in this cup. The items from the set are included in the prize:
- The outfit “Beast Boy”
- The back accessory “Couch Titan”
Only players who place among the top 2,625 will receive the skin set for free and ahead of everyone else.
Additionally, all players who score at least 8 points in the tournament will receive the loading screen “BBRae”. If you cannot score that many points, you will not leave empty-handed this time – all participants in the tournament will receive the spray motif “Beaste Freunde” for simply participating.
Can you get the skin outside of the tournament? If you do not place among the top 2,625 players, you still have a chance at Beast Boy. The skin will appear in the item shop on Friday, May 14 at 2:00 AM. The complete Beast Boy set will also be available then, but players will have to pay for it.
