You can hit opponents with it, block damage, and destroy walls/objects. However, it is only useful as a melee weapon.

3 ways to counter lightsabers
We will show you 3 ways to counter lightsabers in a fight.
1. Close to the opponent and good aim
What do you need to do? This variant is risky as you have to take damage, but it can be successful.
As soon as the opponent attacks you with a lightsaber, use the time to take a critical shot with a pump shotgun. The opponent will not be able to block this because they are swinging the sword.
This method only works if the opponent does not have full shields.

2. Build around your life!
What do you need to do? Another good method is placing walls. By placing building parts, you can protect yourself from attacks and buy yourself more time.
As soon as the opponent destroys your wall with the lightsaber, shoot them directly. You can observe where the opponent is and in which direction you should aim. Use your advantage!
This method is particularly useful if you have a disadvantage in health points and therefore do not want to engage in direct melee combat as in point 1.
3. Use an item they cannot block
What do you need to do? The last variant works especially well with explosive items. They provide a surprise and make it difficult for opponents to evade.
You can use grenades or C4 for this. You can simply throw and detonate them. Especially when opponents are attacking each other with lightsabers, you can catch multiple enemies with this method without taking damage.
The harpoon gun cannot be blocked, but it is not very recommended unless you are sure that your opponents have low health points. With the harpoon, you will only pull them closer to you.
If you really don’t want to deal with lightsabers in Fortnite, you can now switch to the Party Royale mode. There are no weapons there, and no fighting takes place.
