To find the coins at all, you need to start in the Creative mode of Fortnite. There, choose any island and start the player search immediately.
Where can I find the coins? The coins are spread across the entire map. There are no fixed spawn points, but there are enough coins for you to find them quickly.
This is how you complete the task: To complete the task, you need to find 15 of these coins. It takes some time before you can successfully complete the task.
It is enough to look at the coin. You will then see the progress on the bar so you can be sure that the collected coin counts.
