Fortnite has introduced a new gadget to the map thanks to the new Chapter 3: the tent. We at MeinMMO will show you how to best use tents and where you can find them.
How do I use tents? Since the new chapter, tents have become items that you can find all over the map. This item mainly offers a separate storage that can be used across subsequent matches. So if you use a tent and stash your weapons and support items there, they can be retrieved in the next match at any tent.
To use the tent, you first need to buy one with Gold. To do this, approach an open tent and acquire one. Once you’ve done that, a sleeping bag-like item will be in your inventory. You can select this and throw it at any position you like. Your tent is ready. Now you can access it.
Furthermore, you now have two free slots for storing items. You can acquire a third slot for a fee of 100 Gold bars. However, if you take the item out of the rented storage, you will have to pay another 100 Gold bars the next time you store it.
Additionally, you can also take a nap in your tent during a match. This will gradually restore your condition.
If you want to take your tent with you, there is the appropriate option in the tent menu. This way, you can take your tent anywhere and set it up as you please.
In teams, trios, or duos, your teammates can also interact with your tent so they can acquire their own. But don’t worry! No player, neither friend nor foe, has access to your stored items and weapons.
If you find yourself in a new match and spot a foreign storage, you can claim it for yourself and access your items.
Tents are rarely found
Where can I find an example? There is no reliable source to obtain a tent. They typically spawn randomly scattered all over the map.
Either you get lucky and find an example while looting or you can try your luck in survival shops. In various cities on the new map, there exist certain hunting shops with vehicles and snowboards on display. You might find one or another model of a tent there.
What do you think of the tents? Do you find the overall option to store certain weapons good or is that not for you? Let us know in the comments!
