In Fortnite you will soon be able to secure new items from the world of Marvel. Through the beta for the upcoming online game Marvel’s Avengers you can get Hulk gloves as a pickaxe.
What kind of crossover is this? In August, the online game “Marvel’s Avengers” starts with its beta. This begins on different dates depending on the platform. PS4 players will go first, while PC and Xbox One users will have to wait a bit.
If you participate in the beta (which is available for free), you can secure content that you can use in Fortnite. You can expect:
- The pickaxe “Hulk Smashers”
- The “Hulkbuster” style, an alternative variant

Getting Hulk Smashers and the Hulkbuster Style
To get the Hulk Smashers and the Hulkbuster style, you need to complete the following 4 steps:
- Play on PS4 or Xbox One
The event only takes place on consoles. For PC, Android, and iOS users, there seems to be no way to get the pickaxes.
- Participate in the Marvel’s Avengers beta
The beta only takes place at specific times. However, you do not necessarily have to pre-order the game. For certain periods, it is sufficient to participate in the open beta and only register for free:
– August 7 to 9 – Only PS4 pre-order
– August 14 to 16 – PS4 open beta for everyone, Xbox One only pre-order
– August 21 to 23: Open beta for PS4 and Xbox One - Link Accounts
In the next step, you need to connect the accounts. First, your Epic account must be linked to an Xbox or PlayStation Live account.
On the Square Enix website you can then link your Epic account with the beta or your Square Enix account. - The HARM Challenges:
Finally, you need to complete 3 HARM challenges in the beta.
For this, you need to complete the training missions on the ship, which you can find fairly in the middle of your War Table. Initially, only one mission is available to you, and with the completion of one mission, the next one will be added. After completing the 3rd challenge, you will receive a notification that the beta is now finished and the items belong to you.
What if you miss the beta? Through the crossover, you can earn both Marvel pickaxes for free. However, Epic has already announced that the pickaxes will eventually find their way into the shop and will then be available for purchase.
