Find 7 chests at Junk Junction: In the challenges of Week 10 of Season 4 in Fortnite, you need to find and open seven chests at Junk Junction. Luckily, this challenge can be completed in different matches. You do not have to open all seven chests in one match.
Little space for treasure hunters! Junk Junction is not very big. Therefore, there are only relatively few chests there.
In our Junk Junction chest guide and the corresponding map, you will quickly find out where the search for treasure chests is most worthwhile in Week 10!
7 chests in Junk Junction – How to complete the task from Week 10
Junk Junction is remote: The junkyard called Junk Junction is not easy to reach, as it is located at the very top in the northwest of the map. You can only get there quickly when the Battle Bus is flying conveniently in the area. Otherwise, you need to deploy your glider early and sail to your destination. In this case, it takes longer, but you will likely have less competition.

How many chests are in Junk Junction? According to the map by Reddit user “TheSquatingDog,” there should be a total of 14 chests in Junk Junction. But be careful! The chests do not appear every time in the usual game modes of Fortnite. Which chests spawn depends on randomness. Only in game modes with better loot chances, including “Pure Gold,” are all chests guaranteed (almost) to appear.
Where are the most chests? The ideal loot spot in Junk Junction is the large brick building in the middle. There is one chest that can already be reached from the roof. Open the door to the shed with the slanted roof. One floor down in the back part of the building, there is another chest behind the wooden boxes. Downstairs in the ground floor, there is another chest hidden under a small roof.
Other good chest locations? The metal llama in the north also counts as Junk Junction. There is one chest in the head of the creature. You will find another in the body itself.
Keep your eyes open while gliding! Seven chests can spawn in the open air at the junkyard. You may see them from the air. Land first and grab them right away! On the road to the south, there are several vehicles. There are two more chests there.
Complete several challenges at once!
Pro tip: When you loot the chests, you should get a lot of good equipment and weapons. This should make it easy to complete the kill challenges as well, especially since Week 10 only requires ten random kills.
Have fun searching for chests!
