In Fortnite you can find two new exotic weapons in Season 5 that appear only at specific locations on the map. We will show you the locations of the grenade launcher “Big Chill” and the sniper “Dragon’s Breath”.
These weapons are: With the Update 15.10 in Fortnite, two new weapons were added to the game:
- The Dragon’s Breath: an exotic sniper rifle with a flame design
- The Big Chill: an exotic grenade launcher with a rustic design
You can find both weapons on the map. However, they do not randomly appear from loot chests like other weapons, but only at fixed locations. If you want to get the new weapons, you will need to travel there specifically or eliminate an opponent who is carrying one of these weapons.
When you travel to the locations, you need to bring gold with you. You will have to purchase the weapons.
To save you from searching for a long time, we will show you the location of both weapons here.
Location of the grenade launcher “Big Chill”
Use this map: We are embedding the map of Fortnite here, which shows the exact location of the weapon:
Here you need to search: The Big Chill is found at exactly one location. In the far southeast of the map is a snow-covered mountain. At the top, there is an ice cream truck and a picnic table. Right next to it, a frosty Fortnite skin is selling you the Big Chill.
The Big Chill costs 1455 gold bars. This is comparable to other exotic weapons in the game.
Location of the sniper “Dragon’s Breath”
Use this map: Here we are also embedding a map of the locations. Unlike the Big Chill, there are two locations for this sniper, and it only appears at one of the two. If you don’t find it at one location, you will need to head to the other:
Here you need to search: In the west of the map, you need to climb up a small hill. There, wooden structures are assembled, and the NPC Blaze is waiting for you. You can buy the Dragon’s Breath from her.
Alternatively, you can travel to the far northeast of the map. There, on the cliff, are two broken houses. In the right house, you will find Blaze again, who will offer you the sniper.
The rifle costs 1213 gold bars and is therefore slightly cheaper than other exotics.
