We at MeinMMO wanted to find out with you which weapons are the best in Fortnite Season 3 Chapter 2. You voted, and here are your 5 favorites for battle.
This was the survey: We asked you in an article, which weapons you prefer to play in Season 3 and let you choose your favorites.
The survey ended on August 14. Each of you could select up to 3 different weapons.

Here you can see which weapons landed in places 14-6. The distribution of the 562 votes looked like this:

Place 5: Jules Drum Gun
Coming in 5th place with 9.43% of the votes is one of the new mythic weapons from Season 3. Jules Drum Gun, which can be found at the location “The Authority,” requires defeating the mini-boss Jules first, and seems to be quite popular with you.
The weapon stands out due to its larger magazine and especially its speed. Therefore, it also belongs to the best weapons when it comes to DPS values.
Place 4: Kits Grenade Launcher
In 4th place with 9.71% of the votes is another mythic weapon from Season 3. You can get the special grenade launcher at Catty Corner after defeating the mini-boss Kit.
The special thing about this weapon is the ammunition it uses. Instead of bullets, you throw shockwave grenades, which, as the name suggests, cause a shockwave. The fact that this gun is suitable for cool kills has already been proven by the pro SypherPK.
Place 3: Tactical Shotgun
With 10.32% of the votes, the good old tactical shotgun landed in 3rd place among the best weapons in Season 3. The shotgun has been part of Fortnite since its inception and has never disappeared from the game.
Although it has received competition time and again, and there were even so many shotguns in one season that players were surprised. However, the larger magazine and the speed of this gun prevailed against the competition. In close combat, it is a good solution for anyone who cannot hit a headshot immediately.
Place 2: Oceans Burst Assault Rifle
In 2nd place with 11.22% of the votes is the mythic variant of the burst assault rifle. This can also only be found at a specific location, The Fortilla, and you must first defeat the mini-boss Ocean to obtain it.
While the regular burst assault rifle only made it to the last place for you, the mythic variant seems to be quite enjoyed. Here, the higher damage is probably responsible for this top placement. Although it is still a burst weapon that fires 3 shots in quick succession, the damage pays off if you hit all your shots.
Place 1: Scar Assault Rifle
Now we come to the best weapon from Season 3. You voted, and 17.26% of the votes went to the Scar Assault Rifle, placing it in 1st place.
The assault rifle, which has been around since the launch of Fortnite and has long been one of the best guns, has proven itself again. It is also the only weapon that made it into your top 5 and is simultaneously among the best weapons by DPS. It seems to be an all-around weapon that simply has to be in your inventory when you find it.
Amazingly, there are significant differences here compared to the last Season 2. There, mythic weapons were rather unpopular, and the Scar Assault Rifle was voted into 3rd place. Back then, your favorite weapon was one that professionals dislike.
