In Fortnite: Battle Royale Update 13.00 has been released, marking the beginning of Season 3 Chapter 2. We show you the patch notes. It features a ton of new features!
What’s new in update 13.00: This update marks the beginning of the new Season 3 and brings several changes to the game. In the first “Dive In” trailer, you can see a flooded map and sharks as a means of transportation.
We will show you what the new water season has to offer.
The map is flooded – What’s different?
What’s new now? Players suspected for a long time that the map would be completely flooded. After all, the live event brought a new type of storm that ultimately turned into a menacing tsunami.
It seems to have come to pass, as the entire map has been flooded. However, this state will not last, as the water level will eventually lower. This will cause new places to emerge.
Sharks as means of transportation
What’s new? Sharks are now lurking around on the Fortnite map. They are hungry for your loot like weapons and items. However, even though they are dangerous, they have a great benefit for you.
Grab a fishing rod and cling onto the shark. It will then pull you through the map while you only need to steer it. This way, you will surely reach your desired destination quickly.
New enemies – Marauders
What’s new now? In Season 3, you will encounter new enemies. These are bots that simply drop from capsules from the sky throughout the match.
Once the capsule lands on the ground, it explodes, releasing the bots that will attack you. So, you should stay vigilant to react quickly.
All further information about the new Season 3 and what has changed can be found on the official Epic Games page.
Season 3 brought not only some changes and new features to the game but also a new Battle Pass where you can unlock the Drifter Crew. You will even find the hero Aquaman there. If you want to take a closer look, check out the trailer for the Battle Pass of Season 3.
