Fortnite: Battle Royale has brought a wave of new challenges and tasks for you in week 8 of season 4. Find out here what you need to do and how to solve the weekly challenge number 8.
Exciting weekly tasks: This week it was hardly known what to do in Fortnite. Even the brave dataminers could only uncover the less exciting routine tasks. The special challenge and treasure hunt were unclear this time.
But now it’s finally Thursday, and we know what to do in week 8 of Fortnite season 4!
All challenges from week 8 in season 4
You can find the four “easy” challenges of week 8 in Fortnite right here:
- Deal damage to enemies with headshots (250): This is not as difficult as it sounds. Especially with shotguns, you can easily achieve a headshot if you roughly aim at the upper body. Other rapid-fire weapons also hit the head more often than you might think.
- Search chests in Salty Springs (7): There are quite a few chests here, but right at the beginning of the challenge, things should go pretty smoothly. So it’s better to wait or only go there if it’s really out of the way and not a lot of competition is expected. Here is a map showing all treasure chests in Salty Springs in Fortnite.
- Find hungry gnomes (7): What hungry gnomes are and where to find them, you can learn here in the dedicated 7-Gnomes Guide on Mein MMO.
- Search chests in the same match (7): To complete this task, it’s worth landing in a very remote location and looting chests there at your leisure. Ideally, you combine this task with an open chest challenge from previous weeks. But keep in mind that you have to complete it all in one match.
How’s the loot? As always, you get 5 stars in the Battle Pass for each task.
These are the hard challenges in week 8 of Fortnite
These three challenges are each worth 10 stars in the Battle Pass. This means that you level up fully every time you complete one.
- Search between a bear, a crater, and a fridge delivery (1): You can find out here in our guide on “Search between a bear, a crater, and a fridge delivery” how to complete this challenge in detail.
- Eliminate enemies with suppressed weapons (3): A rather difficult task. Because suppressed weapons are not exactly the strongest guns in the game. At least the submachine gun can be quite deadly at the beginning of the game. So it’s best to land in Tilted Towers and go hunting with the SMG.
- Eliminate enemies at Pleasant Park (3): Pleasant Park is a good area to rack up kills. Just land there, grab a powerful weapon, and kick off the hunting season! Ideally, you combine this challenge with an open kill task involving certain weapons from previous weeks.
What about the secret star? In recent weeks, there was always a secret star when all challenges were completed. This week, the star is being desperately searched for.
Blockbuster challenge continues!
The 8th week also counts for the blockbuster task! To unlock the blockbuster challenge and thus the visitor’s skin along with various loading screens, you need a certain number of completely completed weekly tasks.
So you can now skip one of the previous week’s challenges and instead complete the current task list. This also counts for the overall result. However, there’s likely no additional loading screen if you finish all 8 challenges.
