In Fortnite, the possible challenges for week 2 of season 5 have been leaked. Data miners have found promising hints in the code regarding the new challenges.

Leak from data mining: Data miners have extracted and analyzed the current data from the code of Fortnite. The suspected challenges for week 2 have come to light. Currently, there seem to be no masking tactics from Epic. The challenges all sound quite plausible.
Season 5, Week 2 – The 7 Tasks of the Week!
Not only with the season pass: In season 5, it is now common that some challenges can be completed without a battle pass. There are three tasks that can be done without the pass. However, the remaining four challenges are only available if you purchase the pass. Additionally, the extra reward of 5,000 XP is tied to completing 4 of the 7 weekly tasks.
These are the 3 free tasks:
- Deal damage to opponents with assault rifles (1,000): This task is easy to complete. Assault rifles are optimal weapons, and it shouldn’t be hard to inflict 1,000 damage with them.
- Search ammo boxes in the same match (7): This task should also be easy to solve. 7 ammo crates are easy to find if you live long enough and search a bit off the usual loot paths.
- Eliminate opponents at Paradise Palms – HARD (3): The standard kill challenge. Paradise Palms is quite large and offers a lot of loot. This should be doable.
These 4 tasks are only available in the Battle Pass:
- Score baskets on different basketball hoops (5): You will probably need the basketball toy to complete this task.
- Search chests in Loot Lake (7): If you land early in the central villa, you might be able to grab more chests. But overall, the place is rather scarce.
- Search between an oasis, a rock arch, and dinosaurs – HARD (3): This treasure is likely hidden at Paradise Palms. There are at least Dinos and oases there.
- Eliminate opponents with sniper rifles – HARD (2): Sniper rifles are still not easy to handle. The challenge could become tricky if you are not a good sniper.
Each of these weekly tasks gives you 5 stars in the season 5 Battle Pass. For the hard challenges, you even get 10 stars and thus a guaranteed level in the pass!
