In Fortnite, a clip is now making headlines. Apparently, there are issues with the shotgun, emotes, hitboxes, or everything combined. In any case, it is a reason for headless panic that the hit player did not lose their head. Shotgun fans are already beginning to doubt their favorite pump.
Currently, a clip is driving people crazy in Fortnite. It is this one from a streamer titled “The game is broken” – “Das Spiel ist kaputt.”
The video by “Kaogee” has already reached 250,000 views and is the major topic on reddit, bringing it to the top of the discussion chain.
The clip shows that the shooter clearly aimed at the opponent’s head and pulled the trigger while they are flailing around. However, the hit player does not lose their head as expected and falls to the ground, but instead claps.
Wonderful is the expressive reaction of the streamer, who looks as if she has just been to the dentist and he said: “Please open wide.”

The question is: What is going on? Everyone agrees that a shotgun shot to the head should lead to immediate demise.
What is broken?
There are various explanations:
- Some say that the emote is somehow to blame. The shotgun shot does not hit the head, but the hand. Something seems to be going wrong with the hitbox when someone uses such an emote. Then the hitbox moves along.
- Others say: These shotguns are completely unreliable. Sometimes they’re great, other times they do nothing at all.
- Jokesters say: It’s obviously the helmet he is wearing. It’s simply OP!
For the moment, one should assume that emotes in Fortnite do have at least a small impact on the outcome of battles. This was also evident in this example, where players hid themselves using a sexy emote:
