In Fortnite there are legendary heroes, but they are extremely rare. Many players have therefore never seen them. What are the ways to get Legendary Heroes?
In Fortnite, you play various heroes that you continuously upgrade. However, at some point, you will reach a limit in progress unless you play an Epic or even Legendary Hero. While epic characters can still be found relatively frequently, legendary heroes are extremely rare. So rare that some players do not even believe in their existence.
So where do Legendary Heroes come from?

Currently, there are two ways to obtain Legendary Heroes. However, neither is easy. You must either invest a lot of money or a lot of patience and luck. Here are the current ways to acquire Legendary Heroes:
- Those who have a lot of money left and truly love Fortnite can buy the expensive Limited Edition of Fortnite for 150 euros. This founder’s pack includes not only a lot of llamas and other goodies but also two random Legendary Heroes. You can upgrade your existing Founder-Pack to a Limited Edition in the shop for real money and only pay the difference.
- However, there is also a more affordable alternative for Legendary Heroes. With a bit of luck, Legendary items can be found in llamas. Especially the golden llamas, which are found roughly every 30 attempts, could contain such an item.

- According to a Reddit user, there is no guaranteed Legendary Hero from the collection book, even at level 100. However, Legendaries may be available later when the developers – as announced – expand the collection book to level 100+.
So, there is no other way; to currently get the legendary heroes, you need a lot of patience or money. There may be other methods later to get such a Legendary Hero when the developers patch it into the game.
