Fortnite attracts new and old players to the battle royale shooter thanks to the “Refer a Friend” 2022 event. With it, you can not only get four cool items for your collection but also an exclusive skin. How to obtain these items and what you need to do for it, you will find out here.
What is this event? In this event, you can link up with other players who haven’t played Fortnite in a while or who are new to the game.
If, however, none of your friends play Fortnite, MeinMMO also shows you a way to still obtain the items.
Refer a Friend – Many items for Desert Warriors
The items resemble a collection of a Persian warrior, mixed with the power of the rifts in Fortnite. If you’re into Assassins Creed, this set might be worth it for you.
These items can be earned:
- Spray motive “Two-Faced”
- Paint “Immortal Oasis”
- Back Bling “Oasis Wind”
- Pickaxe “Oasis Windbreaker”
- Outfit “Xander”
How do I get them? Well, for that you need to link up with a player. You do this by going to the page of Fortnite Refer-a-Friend. There, you sign up and connect with a player of your choice. Note that you must be friends with this player.
Additionally, this player must have spent less than 120 minutes in any mode over the past 30 days. If the specified time is exceeded, you cannot connect with your chosen player. This player must then accept your invitation.
If you have completed the entire process, here come the tasks:
- Spray motive – Establish a connection to a player
- Paint – Play 1 game with your friend in Fortnite
- Glider – Land in the top 10 with your invited friend 6 times
- Pickaxe – Eliminate 45 opponents with your friend
- Outfit – You and your friend must both reach level 60
When does it end? The registration period runs from July 19, 2022, to January 11, 2023. After that, you cannot connect with players and are excluded from the event.
If you manage to link up, you and your friends have until February 20, 2023, at 05:59 am to complete everything. By then, you should have grabbed all the rewards, otherwise, the opportunity will have passed.
How can I benefit without friends? Some of you may be wondering how to participate without friends who play Fortnite. Either you convince one of your friends to struggle through it, or you simply look for teammates in the Discord of “Fortnite Germany“.
In this, you can find players who, like you, just want to grab the rewards. Maybe this will also lead to new acquaintances or friendships. You can continue to use the Discord server later to find other players for Fortnite activities.
