Fortnite: Fortbyte #31 –Meteorite Crater Lookout

In Fortnite: Battle Royale a new Fortbyte has appeared. It is numbered #31 and to get it, you must search at the viewpoint of a meteorite crater. How to do this is explained here.

Where is the Fortbyte? You should search for Fortbyte #31 at the “viewpoint of a meteorite crater”.

This crater is the large crater at Dusty Divot. There, in Season 4, the comet came down and started the ongoing meta-plot of Fortnite.

Fortbyte #31 can be found there at the coordinates F5. It is the former warehouse, half-destroyed by the meteorite. There is now a viewing platform. Go to the railing, and you will find the Fortbyte.

Here’s how you can collect the Fortbyte: Is there again an obstacle when collecting the Fortbyte this time? Not at all, because unlike previous cases, where you only got the byte at certain times or by performing silly dances, you can simply collect it here.

But be careful. As always, the locations of the Fortbytes are not only known to diligent collectors and achievement hunters. Rather, ruthless tryhards often lurk at the find spots, just wanting to take you out. So be careful and thoroughly explore the area before you acquire the Fortbyte.

What are Fortbytes anyhow and how do you collect them all? The Fortbytes from Season 9 are actually just electronic puzzle pieces. In Season 9, you can collect a total of 100 such bytes until the end. Each day you can find a new Fortbyte. If you have 90 Fortbytes, it is possible to unlock the new bonus skin from Season 9.
