Hot Spots – How to find them?
What are hot spots? These are special places in Fortnite that you cannot miss. You can recognize them before the start of a match when you open the map. The hot spots are named after towns in golden letters. This clearly distinguishes them from the other POIs.
How to complete the task? Find one of these hot spots before the start of a match and land there directly to complete the task quickly and easily.
For some tasks, you just need to eliminate opponents at the hot spots. So make sure you are in the area before shooting.
Shooting down loot drones – Where to find them?
What are loot drones? These are small flying devices that you can only find at the hot spots in Fortnite. So if you’re already at a hot spot for the task mentioned above, look up and keep an eye out for the drones.
How to complete the task? Grab a weapon and shoot at these drones. If you deal enough damage to them, they break and drop loot for you.
According to Fortnite, you should find “very rare weapons” in them. Shooting them down can be very rewarding for you and the rest of the round.
This is important: Keep in mind that the hot spots and the drones flying around there are popular. Other players also want to get to the rare weapons quickly. That’s why it is always crowded there. So, do not rush into the hot spots blindly; instead, look for opponents who might be distracted and shooting at the drones.
