Chapter 4 Season 3 in Fortnite is starting and it brings a lot of new features. This was now shown in the gameplay trailer.
What’s happening in Fortnite: The new season “Wilderness” in Fortnite starts on June 9, 2023 after a server downtime that brings the update. But while everyone is waiting for the start of the new season, Epic is releasing more information about the contents.
Also included is a gameplay trailer, which clearly shows what you can expect from the new season. In addition, there is a cinematic trailer for the new season in Fortnite.

What does the new gameplay trailer for Fortnite show?
In the trailer, there are some things to see that had already been suspected or even leaked. Wilderness
seems to bring some new features. These include:
The new Transformers weapon: In the trailer, Optimus Prime is seen with the new “Cybertron Cannon”. It seems to function similarly to the minigun in handling, but fires a concentrated laser beam with great force.
The kinetic boomerang: A new weapon that returns when you throw it.
The infrared DMR: The DMR is also included in this season, but apparently in an infrared variant. This allows you to find your opponents even in chaotic areas – it should be useful in the jungle.
New rifle: The trailer also briefly shows the new “large drum rifle”.
The new biome: According to the description, the new environment will be located in the middle of the island, that is in the center of our map. Here you will now find a jungle that hides mysterious temples.
Riding Raptors: The Raptors are back but can now also be ridden. A helpful and probably deadly vehicle for the jungle.
Mud sliding: Apparently, the mud in the jungle gives you more speed while sliding, and you can also blend in better with the surroundings – as it seems to stick to you.
Tree sliding: You can see players sliding Tarzan-style over the trees in the jungle. This is likely to contribute to movement as well.
