What is currently happening in Fortnite? It has been a few weeks since the Zero Point exploded and the start of Season 6 brought the prehistoric theme to the island. Hunting wild animals, crafting prehistoric weapons and suitable prehistoric locations are now new features found in Fortnite. Meanwhile, there are not only “weapons,” but also bows that you can use to hunt your enemies. This has also adapted to the prehistoric season. The bows are so powerful, that you must fear them.
Now the question slowly arises about the end of Season 6 and the next theme of Season 7 Chapter 2. In this article, we will show you what we know so far.

When does Season 6 Chapter 2 end in Fortnite?
When does Season 16 end? Season 6 – Chapter 2 will end on Tuesday, June 8. After that, the next Season 7 will be launched after a longer downtime.
Theories about the end of Season 6 – Will there be a live event?
What theories exist about the end of Season 16? Data miners have been looking for clues about the end of Season 6 and found some interesting things. The data contains some sound effects and images indicating aliens and UFOs. Also, things seem to be appearing on the map that suggest an arrival of aliens. Could we see them in an event?
Whether and how a live event will take place is still unknown. Fortnite tried a new type of “live” event for the last Season 5 – the event took place at the start of Season 6 and everyone experienced it solo as soon as they started the game.
We will still see if Epic chooses a solo event again at the start of Season 7 or if there will be another big event that takes place live for everyone at the same time. It would be exciting to see how it continues with Agent Jones and the Foundation after the explosion of the Zero Point. Or if the map will really be overrun by aliens.
When does Season 7 start?
When is Season 7 Chapter 2 coming? The official start date for Season 7 is June 8, 2021. However, Fortnite will first be shut down for a few hours, as always before the season start, and the big update will be installed. However, the time at which the update will be installed is still unknown.
The Battle Pass and Skins of Season 7
What will the next Battle Pass cost? So far, the Battle Passes have always cost 950 V-Bucks, with the version having a 25-level head start costing 2,800 V-Bucks. It is unlikely that these prices will change. However, since Season 5 – Chapter 2, you also have the option to obtain the Battle Pass together with the Crew subscription.
What theme and skins the Battle Pass will have will probably only be revealed once the first teasers for Season 7 are released.
Will there be changes to the map for Season 7?
Could the map change again? At the start of Season 6, we received 3 new locations and the environment has adapted to the prehistoric theme after the explosion of the Zero Point. The Zero Point seems to be causing chaos again as usual. If the story with the Zero Point continues in Season 7, there could be some map changes again.
Additionally, a possible arrival of aliens could cause a few adjustments to the map. It remains exciting to see how the story will continue and what influence it could still have on the map.
So far, there is not much information about the end of Season 6 and the start of Season 7, but there are already some theories and hints. In a few weeks, we will probably see what is coming our way. Until then, you can still try to unlock the rare skins of Season 6 before the season ends and you have no more opportunity to do so.
