The update 12.30 is in Fortnite here and brings some changes. We show you in the German patch notes what has changed in the game.
There are some changes and bug fixes that went live with update 12.30.
The patch notes for the Battle Royale mode have not yet been released by Epic Games. However, we have summarized the biggest innovations and changes for you.
There are also a few exciting changes in the Save the World mode.
New strange weapon
A new weapon will be available with this update. It is a parachute. According to data miners, the new weapon comes in blue, purple, and gold rarities.
Reddit user ultranum1 shows a little gameplay with the new weapon:
This weapon resembles the powerful, laborious lightsabers that were introduced during the Star Wars event.
Locker feature gets a new option
A small change that can make a big difference is the randomizer in the presets. You can now rotate your assembled and saved style combinations.
This means you can use all your favorite skins and swap them out every round without much effort!
With the update 12.20, the locker feature was introduced, where you can save your combinations in the locker.
New fall damage item
With the update 12.30, a new item was introduced that prevents you from being eliminated by fall damage.
It is a launch pad that you can throw on the ground. Once you land on it, you will be propelled back into the air.
New in Save the World
The crypts are back: In the crypts, you can fight monsters and avoid traps. Start an exploration tour and search the dark labyrinth for golden coins and magical keys.
The crypts will be available starting Sunday, April 5, 2020, at 2:00 AM.
A new bow is coming: The bow “Battlefire” returns you to the medieval times. With a hit, you can restore parts of your shield. So aim carefully!
The “Battlefire” bow will be available in the weekly shop from April 2, 2:00 AM to April 9, 2:00 AM.
A hero returns to the shop: For Easter, the Bunny Hero returns in her costume. Her advantage is plasma overdrive.
She will be available in the event shop from April 4, 2:00 AM to June 19.
