Update 12.20 is here in Fortnite and brings some new features. We will show you in the German patch notes what has changed in the game.
What’s in the new patch 12.20: The update brings several new features and changes to the game. This includes a new mode of transportation, the helicopter, and a limited mode that you can play.
Epic Games has not yet released patch notes. However, these changes were found by data miners.
The helicopters are coming
The update 12.20 brings a new mode of transportation to Fortnite. The helicopters are now available and can be used in the game.
Up to 4 players can fit in and fly along. Get in, fly around, and take out your opponents with it!
A leak had already hinted at the helicopters, but are they really that strong?
New game mode (LTM) – Operation: Data Rain
The game of spies has been added. In the limited mode, you must utilize the new tech system to unlock advantages.
You can also try out and test new gadgets while fighting against your opponents.
The data miner Lucas7yoshi has found a few challenges for the new mode that you might be able to complete:
New locker feature
Finally, the locker feature is available in Fortnite, allowing you to save different combinations in the locker.
So you no longer have to select all cosmetic items individually for your skin, but you can simply save your favorite combinations and revert to them.
Players had wanted this locker feature for a long time.
Map changes with patch 12.20
With the update 12.20, the map has also changed. Our choice between Ghost or Shadow affects the story and after TNTina’s decision, the map at “The Rig” has changed.
The Rig seems to have exploded and now oil is leaking into Fortnite’s waters:
What’s new in Save the World
New hero unlockable: A new hero appears in the home base. Complete the quest line: School out to unlock the constructor Gold-Knox.
New weapon available soon in the weekly shop: The new sniper rifle: Sweeper helps you clear the environment of husks.
The weapon will be available from March 19, 1:00 AM until March 26, 1:00 AM in the weekly shop.
Heroine returns: The heroine Lucky Clover Wildcat is returning to the event shop. She brings the mood of St. Patrick’s Day to Save the World.
The heroine will be available from March 21, 1:00 AM until April 4, 2:00 AM in the event shop.
