Today, on February 5th, Epic Games released the patch notes for the new Fortnite update 11.50. We show you the changes and new content.
What’s in the new update 11.50: There are some changes and bug fixes that have been adjusted with update 11.50.
Additionally, an item from the vault is making a return.
Switch to the “Chaos” physics system of Unreal Engine
What’s new? As previously announced, Fortnite is switching to a new physics system with update 11.50. Initially, you may not notice much of a difference, as Epic places a strong emphasis on ensuring Fortnite still plays the same.
Through feedback that you can provide, they will observe how the new physics system is received by the community. This is intended to help improve it for the future.
The Fortnite pro Ninja hopes that the new physics system will bring back the hype for Fortnite.
Missing item returns
From the vault: With update 11.50, a vaulted item is coming back that players have been wishing to return for a long time.
The jump pad will return to the game! The launch pad will return in all game modes; however, competitive formats are excluded.
Bug fixes
Some bugs have also been fixed that mainly affect the overtime challenges of Glibber and 8-Ball:
- A bug where some players’ progress on the “Upcoming Chaos” challenge “Search chests during a match” was not saved has been fixed
- The progress of the “Glibber / Matsch” bonus challenge “Earn gold loot medals” is now recorded as intended

What’s new in Save the World
Love Ranger Jonesy returns: “Don’t worry, Commanders … I never miss!” – Love Ranger Jonesy
The hero increases shockwave radius by 37.5 %. He is available in the event shop from February 8th, 1:00 AM to February 20th, 10:00 AM.
Heartbreaker crossbow in shop: The crossbow of love! Shoots bolts that gradually drop and can penetrate enemies.
If you want to have this crossbow, you should check out the event shop. It is available from February 8th, 1:00 AM to February 20th, 10:00 AM.
News regarding cosmetic items: Outfits and back accessories should soon be available through the locker also in the home base.
Until then, a few bugs will still be fixed. Epic plans to introduce the new locker with update 12.10.
