Today, on April 10th, the Fortnite servers on all platforms
(PC/Mac, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS, Android) will be down for a patch. When will maintenance start? When can you log back in? MeinMMO has all the info!
What’s happening today in Fortnite? With the new version 8.30, which will bring new content, maintenance will also take place as it does every week. Fortnite will be unavailable for a certain period of time.
When the servers will be down, what the new update brings, and when you can log back in will be revealed here!

Fortnite servers are going down – when will they be back online?
When does the downtime begin? At 10:30 AM German time, you will no longer be able to join any matches. At 11:00 AM, the servers will no longer be reachable; Fortnite will then be unplayable.
When can I log back in? If no unforeseen issues arise, Fortnite should go live again around noon. If there are delays, you can find the info on MeinMMO – just like the patch notes, which we will provide shortly after the maintenance starts.

How big will the update be? Due to technical improvements, the update for Fortnite this week will be significantly larger:
What the technical improvements will be will also be revealed in the patch notes. Those with less than 6GB of available storage on their smartphones will have to redownload Fortnite.
What does the update bring for the Battle Royale mode? This week a popular feature from Apex Legends is coming to Fortnite: Battle Royale – the Reboot Van. At these vehicles, you will be able to revive teammates even though they have actually been defeated.

This way, even games thought to be lost can still be turned around. What other content (aside from the technical improvements) will come is not yet known.
What we know: There will be no changes to the Ballers, which are considered too strong and need to be reworked urgently according to many players. When the changes to the Ballers will come is still unclear. However, it is likely to happen by next week at the latest.

What’s in the update 8.30 for Save the World players? The PvE part of Fortnite will also receive new content this week:
- New legendary constructor
- New steampunk-style shotgun
- Eliminate and Collect – The Beta Storm is now a permanent mission, changes based on community feedback have been made
- A completely new Beta Storm will be coming
What do you think of the content? Are you looking forward to the Reboot Van?
Update 11:16 AM: The patch notes for the latest Fortnite update are now available.
