Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite, is releasing a new mobile MMORPG (iOS/Android) in collaboration with the Chinese company Zulong Games. You can already register for Dragon Raja now.
What is this MMORPG about? The mobile game is named Dragon Raja and is being developed for Android and iOS. It was already presented at the Unreal Open Day 2019 and won an award there. In the meantime, the game has been released and we have looked at the first reactions.
Dragon Raja is being developed in Unreal Engine 4 and is supposed to offer a huge world and beautiful graphics. It focuses on the story of the eponymous novel from China, in which humans, dragons, and half-breeds fight in an endless war.
From the YouTube video by Scion Storm, we can gather that there are 4 classes with 3 options each (male, female, and child) during character creation. The video also provides insights into the first minutes of gameplay:

What do we know about Dragon Raja? The mobile MMORPG relies on an open world and many PvE content. However, we are not in a fantasy world, but rather in a modern setting.
The focus is on the player character, who embarks on a career that is supposed to allow players to build a second life. Many decisions can be made according to your wishes.
This is supposed to allow for a social system with other players around the world. However, NPCs should also interact with us and even respond to our personalities. Such features are not always present in many PC MMORPGs.
In the game world, a day and night cycle and dynamic weather conditions await you. Furthermore, the MMORPG places value on beautifully staged cutscenes.
What about PvP? There should also be content for PvP players. Battles with up to 100 players are planned. Exact details are yet to be announced.
Free-to-Play release for Dragon Raja planned
When will it be released? The mobile MMORPG from Epic Games is expected to be released soon. You can already register in the Play Store or in the App Store to be ready for the release.
For signing up early, there are various gifts, in-game currency, and an exclusive title.
Dragon Raja will be free-to-play and is set to be available in English, German, and French. There will be a shop through which the mobile game will be financed. We do not yet know what exactly will be included in it.

What is special about Epic? Epic Games develops the Unreal Engine. Many game companies rely on this engine to develop their MMORPGs. For example, Ashes of Creation is said to become a showcase MMORPG in Unreal Engine 4.
From their collaboration with these companies, Epic Games must have learned a lot that they can now apply themselves: Even if MMORPGs are not as big as they were a decade ago, many are longing for the next big online role-playing game.
