Fortnite increases the silliness. Dataminers have found hints of totally crazy new skins, including a dinosaur, a fish head, and a tomato face!
Fortnite is already pretty wacky and crazy. After all, cuddly bears, dinosaur costumes, nutcrackers, and monkey gods are fighting astronauts, skiers, and John Wick! But the developers at Epic are far from done and seem to already have the next batch of wild skins ready.
Pizza Delivery Guy, Dinosaur, or the Fish from Megamind?
With Patch 3.5 came not only a huge server downtime emergency. The game files contain a lot of new graphics again, indicating new skins. Thanks to diligent dataminers, we now know what will likely be available in the shop soon:
- Skin “Tricera Ops”: This outfit is a dinosaur costume for women. It depicts a cute Triceratops and is the idealmatching look to the male Rex. As a legendary skin, this outfit should cost 2,000 V-Bucks (20 euros).
- Skin “Leviathan”: Who remembers the anti-hero animated movie “Megamind” by Dreamworks? In the movie, the main character Megamind had a strange fish named Minion as a sidekick. And like in this skin, the fish was always in a goldfish bowl sitting on a robot body. As a legendary skin, this outfit should cost 2,000 V-Bucks (20 euros).
- Skin “Tomatohead”: Fortnite aficionados have surely seen the gigantic tomato head towering over the pizza place in Tomato Town. With this skin, you can become the mascot of the pizza joint and run around as a grinning tomato face, serving hot lead instead of pizza! As an epic skin, this outfit should cost 1,500 V-Bucks (15 euros).
- Skin “Cipher”: This outfit is the female counterpart to the already existing skin Circuit Breaker, a kind of cyber hacker. As a rare skin, this outfit should cost 1,200 V-Bucks (12 euros).
- Back Bling “Hatchling”: This back bling belongs to the skin Tricera Ops and depicts a super cute dinosaur just hatching from the egg-shaped backpack.
- Back Bling “Fish Tank”: The back bling from the Leviathan outfit contains a water bottle for
- Back Bling “Special Delivery”: If you buy the tomato head skin, you’ll receive this pizza package as back bling.
- Harvesting Tool “Bitemark”: An epic pickaxe that looks like a dinosaur biting toy.
- Harvesting Tool “Axeroni”: An oversized pizza cutter in rare quality.
- Harvesting Tool “Cutting Edge”: A sleek harvesting tool with gold applications in rare quality.
- Glider “Planetary Probe”: Here you get a space probe as an epic glider.
- Glider “Googly”: A rare glider with googly eyes.
- Glider “Fossil Flyer”: The matching glider to Tricera Ops in unusual quality.
- Glider “Mainframe”: Cipher’s glider in a cyber look and in unusual quality.
Additionally, there are three new Emotes named “Click” (Uncommon), “Rock Out” (Epic), and “Smooth Ride” (Rare).
When and if these new skins and emotes will appear in Fortnite is still unknown.
