Fortnite (PC, PS4, iOS, Android, Switch & Xbox One) has encountered some issues with Patch 5.21. The game is no longer stable and crashes more often. In the Save the World mode, it is even worse. However, Epic is already working on a solution.
Patch 5.21 brings issues: The highly anticipated Update 5.21 unfortunately introduced a nasty bug along with the new heavy sniper rifle. Since the patch, Fortnite: Battle Royale has been crashing more frequently.
This frustrates many players. In the Save the World mode, it is even worse, where crashes have been plaguing players since the start of Season 5.
The problem is known, will a solution follow soon?
Epic has identified the problem: As soon as the first complaints arose, Epic already responded. In a tweet, the developers informed the player community that they have already identified the problem. Now they just need to fix the bug and deploy a hotfix to the servers.
This is supposed to happen as soon as possible.
Sarcastic remarks about the bug: Until then, fans are showering social media and forums with snarky comments. The new heavy sniper rifle is likely to blame, as its enormous firepower seems to be breaking the server stability.
Or the servers are so shaky because worlds collide in Season 5. This can lead to crashes.
What about Save the World?
PvE mode in crisis for weeks: Crashes and crashes are not an exclusive problem of the Battle Royale mode. The PvE mode Save the World has been plagued by crashes for some time. This is particularly annoying, as you often spend a long time working with a team on a mission and invest resources in PvE.
When a crash occurs and either you or important teammates get kicked out, you miss out.
Epic is collecting data for bug fixes: Therefore, fans of the PvE mode have been complaining in the forum for a while now and hoping for a remedy. Let’s hope that Epic also quickly identifies and fixes the crashes in the PvE mode.
At least in the forum, the developers have promised help and are collecting data from affected players.
