What’s the deal with the leak? Hypex, a well-known leaker of Fortnite, has published an important hint from Twitter user FortniteJPNews, showing the hut of the Big Baddie. This hut has often been used to stockpile the free gifts, so you can open them day by day.
This is a leak that not only shows a new hut of the Big Baddie but also two new skins and many wrapped gifts waiting to be opened.
So far, Epic Games has not said a word about an event, but it seems very plausible that the developers have prepared one.
At Christmas, hardly any updates are released. Furthermore, the second part of the story quest will not be released for another 42 days (as of December 6). So it makes sense for Epic Games to keep players engaged, so they have motivation to play even at Christmas.
When does the Christmas event 2022 start? We don’t know yet. A year ago, on December 16, 2021, the Christmas event started.
So it is quite possible that this year the event will also fall on a Thursday, but this time on December 15. Should official information come out, we will let you know.
