Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, iOS & Xbox One) will receive new skins with the upcoming update 4.4. This time, among other things, football skins for the World Cup and a new PS4-exclusive skin have been announced in a leak.
Every time Fortnite gets a new update, the upcoming skins for the shop are already implemented. This way, the new outfits are ready to go as soon as they are unlocked in the shop.
For data miners, this is an ideal opportunity to dig through the code and leak images of the new outfits in advance. The data miners “TwoEpicBuddies” have recently done this again.
Football in Fortnite!
What could come to the shop soon? Just like during the Winter Olympics in South Korea, there will also be special skins for a major sports event this time: the FIFA World Cup 2018! According to the leak, there should be a series of football skins from different nations.
What else is coming? In addition to the footballers, more skins have been leaked:
- A woman with a hood like Assassin’s Creed
- A dark hooded figure with a mask and cloak (which seems to be a back piece)
- A guy with a gas mask, who looks a bit like the Pyro from Team Fortress
- A guy with a target interface as a face
- A kind of jet pilot with a pilot helmet and breathing apparatus
The new pickaxes, gliders, and emotes
These are the harvesting tools: There are a trumpet, a football with shoes, a kind of magical scepter, and a nasty black pickaxe.
The new gliders: There are probably 4 new gliders: A flying dino, a jet engine with wings, a football glider, and a propeller.
There are also emotes: The emotes are clearly in the name of King Football: There are, among other things, ball acrobatics, a red card, and crying on the field.
When and whether these shop offerings will come to the game is still unknown. It is also not known what the individual skins and emotes will cost.
Exclusive skin for PlayStation Plus
Also cool: Those who are members of PS Plus can probably grab another exclusive skin starting June 12, 2018. It is a dark-skinned man with a kind of VR headset and a cool backpack.
