When does Chapter 6 Season 4 start? According to the end date of Chapter 6 Season 3, Season 4 is set to launch on Thursday, August 7, 2025. As usual, Epic Games will conduct maintenance to upload the new update. During this time, all players will be logged off the servers.
However, the timing of the season’s start is unusual, as Epic Games has often allowed older seasons to kick off either on Tuesday, Saturday, or Sunday of the week – Thursday is uncommon. So it is possible that Epic Games may change the start time. If this happens, we will update our overview.

Chapter 6 Season 4: New Map, Battle Pass and Theme
What do we know about the map? The map is expected to remain the same as in Chapter 6, but there will still be some small changes. Shiina, a Fortnite leaker, has already managed to dig up the new map, and it looks as follows:

As for features, the season should revolve around bugs – more specifically, the hunt for bugs, as they infest the island and you are to eliminate them. The bugs, however, are gigantic and pose a real threat. According to teasers, these bugs have nests that sprout from the ground, so it is likely that they will overrun the map, and you will need to destroy them as in Helldivers 2.
What does the upcoming Battle Pass look like? Leaks have now revealed all the skins from the upcoming Battle Pass. Here’s what you can expect:
- A panda with only one eye
- A woman with black hair and nunchucks
- A futuristic soldier with a gas mask
- A blue Spartan from Halo
- A green Power Ranger
- Megazord from Power Rangers
- A girl with purple hair and mechanical arms
- A black-haired agent
What is the theme of Season 4? After a huge tentacle monster was defeated in the live event “Super Showdown,” the island could breathe a sigh of relief, but now it seems another danger is threatening the inhabitants – bugs. Various insect species are building their nests on the island and thus infest the island of Chapter 6.
According to the teasers, there seems to be an organization that is responsible for the elimination and combating of these insects and players are even provided with massive weapons. Besides mini-guns, there should also be a multiple rocket launcher (source: x.com) and the appearance of the insects is also known through leaks and the official trailer (source: x.com).
Are there more leaks? Yes, and these revolve around more Power Rangers. There is uncertainty whether the green Power Ranger will receive more styles or other colors will be offered in the shop.
