So far, Epic Games has revealed via x.com (formerly Twitter) that the servers will be shut down at 8 PM CET on August 15. Leakers believe (via x.com) that the downtime will last up to 5 hours.

How will the map change? Players could already see in the trailer how Doctor Doom pulled his large green castle out of the ground. However, with his castle come many other map changes as well as a large dark tower that spews red smoke.

Fortnite: Chapter 5 Season 3 – Live Event
Will there be a big live event at the end of Season 3? That is very unlikely. Recently, Epic Games released a small live event in which a pipeline from Doctor Doom was blown up to open the box of Pandora. After that, a short trailer was released announcing the new season.
