Today marks the start of the eighth round of challenges in Fortnite: Battle Royale. Once again, there are seven tasks to complete in order to reach Level 100 and earn the coveted John Wick skin. In Week 8 of Fortnite, the focus is on dance floors and the treasure between three boats. A map of the vending machine locations is also important this week for solving the challenges in Fortnite.
Only three weeks remain until the end of the currently ongoing third season in Fortnite. So there isn’t much time left to reach Level 100 in your Battle Pass and obtain the legendary Reaper skin, which coincidentally resembles John Wick.
This week, you will again face seven tasks after the long downtime, which will elevate you five levels in the Battle Pass. Upon completing four challenges, you will also receive a “secret” reward of 4,000 experience points for your season level.
The Week 8 Challenges in Fortnite
The following standard challenges must be completed in the eighth week:
- Use a vending machine (1) – you can find a map with all vending machines in Fortnite here
- Deal damage to opponents with explosive weapons (500)
- Search chests in Snobby Shores (7)
- Eliminate opponents with assault rifles (3)
- Defeat opponents in Dusty Depot (3)
In addition to these five tasks, you will again face two challenges this week, for which you will first need to go searching:
- Dance on different dance floors (3)
- Search between three boats (1)

Fortnite: Dance on Different Dance Floors – Here Are All Dance Floors
With the last update, Epic added some locations to the map of Fortnite: Battle Royale that feature nightclubs. In fact, these nightclubs form the basis for completing this challenge.
You need to visit the nightclubs and perform an emote on the dance floor. After you have done this three times, the challenge is considered completed.
You can find these nightclubs at several locations. So far, three are known – which are sufficient to complete the task:
- Flush Factory
- Trailer Park east of Retail Row
- In the basement of the haunted house directly southwest of Pleasant Park

Search between three boats!
Boats sail on the water – to solve this tricky riddle, you simply need to head to Loot Lake. The location of the golden star, which will bring you a whole level forward, can be seen on the following map (yellow circle):
Since a real rush for the star is to be expected, you should postpone this challenge for a few days. At this point, you are vulnerable. The star is located on the boat dock in front of the house.
