In the Item Shop of Fortnite: Battle Royale, 2 new Hunters have now appeared. Among them is the Terminator as T-800, but players are now asking: “Where’s the variant of Arnold Schwarzenegger?”
What kind of skin is this? Since Friday, January 22nd, 2 new Hunter skins have been available in the Item Shop: T-800 and Sarah Connor. There is also a trailer showing Agent Jonesy bringing the robot from Terminator to the Season 5 map in Fortnite:
The skins are available either individually or as a complete package for 2,800 V-Bucks. Sarah Connor comes with 2 style variants, but the robot does not. The package also includes additional cosmetics related to the characters.
This is not the first time that hunters from other universes have been brought into the Fortnite world by Agent Jonesy:

What does this mean? Although T-800 is part of the science fiction film Terminator, some likely think first of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger as the main character and Terminator. Therefore, some players seem surprised why there is no “Arnie” variant for the skin.
Under the trailer post on Twitter and reddit, they are asking why there is no style variant for it. They likely would have liked to have one to use in-game.

“No money for Arnie?”
What do players say about the missing style variant? Some players seem sad that Arnold was not included as a variant for T-800, while others think they know why Epic couldn’t include the “Terminator.” They say on Twitter and reddit:
- “We want Arnold Schwarzenegger in Fortnite!”
- “Where’s Arnold? The black jacket and black sunglasses! That’s pretty disappointing.”
- “It’s a shame there is no style variant of Arnold Schwarzenegger.”
- “Maybe it was too expensive for Epic to have his face (Arnold’s) in the game.”
- “An Arnie variant would have been cool, but I guess Epic couldn’t get the rights for it.”
- “I guess getting Arnold in the game would be totally over their [Epic’s] budget.”
Some fans probably believe that Epic couldn’t afford to bring in the Arnie Terminator or that they did not obtain the rights for it. However, these are just player speculations and may not actually be the case.
Data miners found leaks pointing to the next hunter in Fortnite. However, the leaks and hints rather pointed to another character from the game Tomb Raider. But now it could be that the leaks were referring to the T-800. Will Lara Croft not appear now or at a later time? We will likely have to wait and see.
