In the new Season 2 of Fortnite, new weapons have been added and some familiar weapons have been brought back to life. However, one of them is really something special. The Drum Shotgun is back, and it’s sure to cause chaos.
What kind of shotgun is this? The Drum Shotgun, known in German as “Trommelschrotflinte”, is a shotgun with a very large magazine that has returned in Chapter 3 Season 2.
The pump shotgun was vaulted in Season 10 Chapter 1 and hasn’t made a comeback since – until now. Fortnite has launched the new Season 2 along with it.

What can the weapon do? The weapon fires from a magazine of 12 rounds and does so fully automatically. Besides its high rate of fire, the weapon can also excel at medium range as well as in close combat. The weapon comes in the rarity grades: common, uncommon, and rare.
Depending on the grade, you will get a weapon with more damage and a higher reload speed.
Where can I find it? You can find the weapon all over the new map of Fortnite. From regular chests, supply drops on the ground, or at vending machines, to NPCs offering this weapon, there are many sources through which you can obtain the shotgun.
How strong is it? The weapon fires a magazine of 12 rounds fully automatically. These are fired with devastating speed. So if you are in a 1vs1, you just need to hold down the trigger. Your enemy will panic at the sound of the shots.
Appropriately, you can deal damage between 45 and 50 with the shotgun. Depending on the area of the shot, you can deal more damage with precision hits. This gun is great for quickly sending opponents to oblivion.
