It has finally arrived – the limited-time Playground mode in Fortnite: Battle Royale. The naming of the mode is absolutely fitting, as evidenced by the many creative ideas that players are currently bringing to life. We show you the highlights from the community!
What would you do if you had an hour to unleash your creativity in a gigantic sandbox? Whatever you decide – a lot of cool stuff comes out of it.
The popularity of the new Playground mode was already shown by the rocky start a week ago. The servers simply crashed under the rush. Epic took almost an entire week to get all backend services back up and running.
Now the mode is finally live – and players are letting their creativity run wild.
Mario Kart in Tilted Towers and Dinosaurs in Tomato Town
When memes take shape in Fortnite: The first highlight comes from Redditor Pew11, who thanks Epic for allowing him to have no time for other things due to the Playground:

As a plumber with shopping carts: The next players prove that you can even play Mario Kart in Fortnite. Redditor JoshB_C and his partner designed a complete racetrack that runs through Tilted Towers. It’s hard to believe that they built it in less than an hour.
No one intends to build a wall: The next Redditor Lieutenant_Dan_ describes his project with the words “The elite circle of Snobby Shores must protect itself and build a wall, and we will make the lobby pay for it.”

Watch out for free-roaming dinosaurs: The next impressive artwork comes from Redditor Ezzaroth, who placed a gigantic dino in front of Tomato Town. According to his own statements, he built this construct alone, a remarkable achievement – after all, he only had an hour. Hats off!

Of round tables and resurrected ruins
When rebuilding is taken into your own hands: Do you remember the building complex east of Retail Row? I always referred to that group of buildings as the foundry due to lack of a name (even if nothing indicated that far and wide) – others call it factory.
The buildings fell victim to the meteor, much to the dismay of Redditor Sqoof, who simply rebuilt the factories:
How a chair turns into a gigantic dining room: My personal highlight comes from Redditor Baslero, who dedicated himself to a very special area. North of Flush Factory, there is a small building complex with a gigantic chair.
The player decided to “expand” this scene a little:

The ramp of death: To conclude, we present a ramp that the world has never seen before:
Whether his friend knew what awaited him is unknown. According to Redditor CorpseParteh, his buddy was mainly hunted across the map to gather bounce pads.
What have you done in the Playground of Fortnite: Battle Royale?
