Fortnite: Battle Royale has finally shown the contents of the new Battle Pass for Season 7 Chapter 2 (Update 17.00) in a trailer. It’s quite colorful, as aliens are here, Superman appears, and even Rick from the cult series Rick and Morty is involved.
What does the Battle Pass trailer show? The trailer for the new Battle Pass of Update 17.00 (Season 7, Chapter 2) is online. And as long as the game is offline due to downtime, the trailer is the only official source for the new content you will soon be able to get. In the trailer you will see among other things:
- Diverse alien skins that probably shouldn’t all have the same goals
- An alien has apparently disguised itself as another skin and is literally taking this off!
- Superman also appears similarly, first showing up as his alter ego Clark Kent and then putting on his costume
- Fans of the cult series Rick and Morty will be especially happy, as at least the drunk scientist Rick is included as a skin. Morty seems to at least lead an inglorious existence as a harvesting tool.
- Another skin is likely a woman with an afro hairstyle, who seems to lead the fight against the invaders. She also appears to have several variants.

When can you buy the Battle Pass? The new Battle Pass is only available when the downtime for Update 17.00 is over. The servers went offline today at 08:00 and since it is a major update, it will likely take a while before you can play again. So expect it to be more like later in the afternoon.
