With Season 2, Fortnite has introduced new skins belonging to the factions Ghost and Shadow. Accordingly, a survey was conducted in which over 150,000 players participated.
What was the survey about? Through Twitter, the Fortnite account asked players whether they preferred the skin for the character Brutus in the Ghost or Shadow variant.
More than 150,000 players have participated in the survey so far, and the result is extremely close:
- 50.9% currently vote for Ghost
- 49.1% for Shadow
The survey will be open until Monday morning. So it’s possible that the rankings will swap again.

What are the factions about? With Season 2, Fortnite has introduced the two agent groups Ghost and Shadow. They are basically different skins that you can unlock.
Once you reach level 20 in the Battle Pass, you have the opportunity to unlock a skin for Brutus corresponding to one of the factions. To do this, you must complete a special mission for the respective agent group.
After completing the tasks, you receive the skin. However, the decision is permanent; you can unlock Brutus either with a Shadow or a Ghost skin. However, you are not permanently bound to the faction. When a new character is unlocked, you can choose again which faction you want to join,
Which characters get Ghost and Shadow skins? In the Battle Pass, a total of 5 characters are waiting for you, whose skins you can unlock:
- Level 20 – Brutus
- Level 40 – TNTina
- Level 60 – Meowscles
- Level 80 – Skye
- Level 100 – Midas
Each of these characters also gets a Ghost and a Shadow skin. Additionally, there is a special Deadpool skin that you can also unlock.
Do both factions compete against each other? There is already a hint in the menu that a special event will take place. Apparently, the two factions will face off against each other.
What exactly this event entails and what influence the skins will have is still unknown.
