In Fortnite, leakers already announced in advance that Chapter 2 will say goodbye to you in December. Now Epic Games itself has released a trailer for the end and set a new countdown. MeinMMO summarizes what you need to know.
What has been released? Epic Games is now officially releasing the trailer for the live event of Chapter 2. This short trailer officially confirms the suspicions and statements of the well-known leakers, who stated that Chapter 2 will be succeeded by Chapter 3 in December.
In the trailer, four armed skins are shown, who pass through a roll gate. They face the well-known threat: The Cube Queen. She also prepares for battle and statically charges her half-finished alien pyramid.
Fortnite Countdown has started
If you haven’t logged into Fortnite yet, the trailer will play for you upon logging in. Afterwards, you will be taken to your lobby, which is now equipped with a countdown.
When does the live event start? The countdown will end on Saturday, December 4, at 10 PM. After that, you will have the opportunity to face the Cube Queen to free the old map from her threat.
How will the live event unfold? It is not yet known, but rumors suggest that the Cube Queen will throw the map into chaos and a black hole will appear again. Before that happens, however, you will be able to face her and try to stop her.
What happens after the live event? Leakers assume that a black hole will spread again and Fortnite will fall into a winter sleep for a few days.
During this time, everything will be prepared for the new Chapter. You will not be able to play matches or adjust your skins. This will be comparable to what happened after the live event of Season X in Chapter 1.
