In Fortnite: Battle Royale, more events and tasks are planned before the start of Season 8. They are themed around love and called “Have Love for Each Other”.
What is the “Have Love for Each Other” event? Season 7 has now been going for 10 weeks and all challenges have been completed. However, Season 8 only starts at the end of February. Epic has prepared and plans to launch the new event titled “Have Love for Each Other” with the upcoming update 7.40.
It will feature more challenges themed around love and Valentine’s Day. An unusual idea for a game where players mercilessly eliminate each other until only one remains. But who knows what Epic has in mind and what tasks you will have to complete.
All About the Valentine’s Event
When does it start? The Valentine’s event begins with update 7.40. This is expected to be released on February 12. The event is open to all players; you do not need a Battle Pass for it.
What can you get? There will likely be five new challenges, each promising rewards. Among them is a skin called Valentine’s Gift and a contrail named Vines.
What about skins? For the Battle Pass skins Trug, Powder Snow, and Cuddly, there will also be additional styles. However, you must have the Battle Pass from Season 7 to access them.
What else is there? If you have already supported a content creator in Fortnite or enter a creator code on Epic’s website between February 8 and 22, you will receive a free Cuddle Hearts wrap.
Double XP and More Islands for Creative Mode
When are the double XP weekends? To quickly unlock the additional styles of the Battle Pass skins or earn a few more tiers in the Pass, there will again be special weekends with double experience points at the end of Season 7. These events will take place from February 15 to 17 and from February 22 to 24.
What about the islands? To celebrate the many great ideas from Creative mode, new community islands will be featured daily in Creative mode from February 12 to 22.
