Catch an item with the fishing rod at various locations with no fishing signs is this task in Fortnite: Battle Royale. We show you the locations for the Overtime Challenge Cameo vs. Chic.
What is this task? The new Overtime Challenges run under the motto “Cameo vs. Chic” and are meant to bridge the time until the next season in Fortnite begins. Season 2 of Chapter 2 will start in February 2020.
You will experience a lot of variety with these new tasks that require you to dance at various locations, destroy things, or fish in places where fishing is actually prohibited.
Here you can find the no fishing signs currently in Fortnite:
This is how you complete the task: As you can see on the map, all locations with the signs are close together. The location is Slurpy Swamp.
The task becomes even easier because there are barrels with fishing rods directly at these locations that you can simply loot.
If you travel to these locations, you can find everything important there. You do not need to prepare for the challenge.
Pick up a fishing rod and equip it. With your key/button that you normally use to shoot, you cast the fishing rod. Once it wiggles wildly in the water, you reel it back in. With a bit of luck, you will quickly have an item on the line and can travel to the next location.
- The northern location is directly in the water – right near the bridge that crosses the water
- The western location is near the pipe that pumps Slurp into the river
- The southern location is a bit higher above the Slurp pipe

Watch out for: Keep in mind that in the coming days many players will be pursuing this task. So many players will be milling around Slurpy Swamp. Furthermore, you will find the mushroom signs that are sought for another Overtime Challenge.
So check closely beforehand whether there are enemies nearby and whether they are behaving peacefully before you cast the bait into the water.
