In Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 7 has begun, and some of the exotic weapons have now disappeared. However, there are still 4 to be found in this new season. MeinMMO shows you their locations and whether they are worth it for you.
What are exotic weapons? Exotic weapons are guns that each have a specific function and can only be purchased from NPCs. In Season 7, the number of exotic weapons has been significantly reduced – in Season 6, you could still find 6 on the map.
Since you can only get the weapons from certain NPCs, you first need to know their locations. These have changed again in Season 7. We will show you where you can find the exotic weapons on the Season 7 map. We will also introduce each of them in more detail and discuss who they are worth for.

On the map, you can see where the guns are located. However, we will delve deeper into the locations, values, advantages, and disadvantages of each weapon. This way, you can see which one might be the best for your round.
Exotic Weapon “Storm Scout”
Here you can find the rifle: You can buy the Storm Scout from NPC Riot for 500 gold bars. The character is located next to the yellow bridge, east of Misty Meadows. Since it is an open area, you should be able to find Riot quickly. However, since the character is aggressive, you must defeat him first so he can respawn as a hologram and you can interact with him peacefully.
This is what the weapon can do: The Storm Scout works like a normal sniper rifle, making it useful for long distances. However, the special feature of this exotic weapon is that it can predict the next storm zone. When you aim down with it, a small map appears showing where the next storm zone will be.
This is how much damage the gun causes:

- Head: 212.5
- DPS: 76.5
Magazine Size: 6
This sniper rifle is especially worth it for players who can land good shots at long distances. But because of its special function, the Storm Scout is beneficial for all players; knowing where the next storm zone will be gives you an advantage. You can already move to the safe zone, thus avoiding lethal damage.
Exotic Weapon “Shadow Tracker” Pistol
Here you can find the weapon: The Tracker Pistol can be found with the character “Expert” in the Highland Station. Simply enter the building and walk up to the speech bubble. This is what the “Shadow Tracker” Pistol can do: At first glance, the pistol doesn’t deal much damage, but its special features make it strong nonetheless. When you hit enemies, they are marked for you and your teammates – so you have a clear advantage since you can always keep an eye on them. Even if the enemy disappears behind a wall after being hit, their location will be shown to you for 10 seconds. Also, the shots from the pistol are silent since it is equipped with a silencer.
This is how much damage the Tracker Pistol causes:

- DPS: 195.75

The pistol is worth it for you if you are accurate, as it doesn’t do much damage per shot. Additionally, it offers the advantage of marking, which makes it a worthwhile weapon and since it is silent, you can sneak up on enemies more easily.
Exotic Weapon “Night Hawk”
Here you can find the rifle: You can buy the Night Hawk from NPC Guggimon for 400 gold bars. The character is located on Loki’s Lighthouse Island. Since it is an open area, you should be able to find Guggimon quickly. However, since the NPC is aggressive, you need to defeat him first so he can respawn as a hologram and you can interact with him.
This is what the weapon can do: The Night Hawk is a revolver equipped with a scope – making it suitable for long distances. However, the exotic version also comes with a thermal scope. This displays a heat map of your opponents, which shows you where they are faster.

- DPS: 70.4
- Magazine Size: 6
Although the weapon doesn’t deal much damage, it can be worth it because of the thermal feature. You can hit your opponents from long distances and recognize them easier with the heat map. This way, you can deal damage before they even notice you.
Exotic Weapon “Marksman’s Iron”
Here you can find the iron: You can obtain this exotic weapon from NPC Abstract, who is located behind the Noms Shopping Center at Retail Row. If you pay the character 400 gold bars, the iron is yours.
This is what the weapon can do: The Marksman’s Iron can be used in 2 different ways. The iron can be shot from the hip, making it very fast but inaccurate. If you want to shoot more accurately, you need to aim – which will slow the weapon down.
This is how much damage the iron causes:
- Body: 24
- Head: 96
- DPS: 120
- Magazine Size: 6
The exotic weapon is only strong if you land good headshots – which is quite disadvantageous if you mostly shoot from the hip and thus likely hit less. If you want some variety, then the weapon could still be worth it for you.
So if you want to add variety to your matches, you should look for these exotic weapons. It’s best to buy those that are worth it for you so you don’t waste any gold bars.
