In Fortnite: Battle Royale, Season 7 has begun. This means that there are new characters on the map with whom you can interact. But where are the NPCs now and which ones are worth your time?
What kind of characters are they? At the start of Season 5 – Chapter 2, a system was introduced, where various characters can be found distributed throughout the map. They are computer-controlled characters with whom you can interact during matches.
The characters allow you to perform various actions, but these are not the same for every NPC. The following actions can be performed by characters:
- Complete small quests
- Challenge NPCs to take their weapon
- Hire NPCs as reinforcements
- Get information
- Buy weapons or items
In Season 7, a few new NPCs have been added, and you can now acquire certain abilities from them – for example, you can now give a tip to the bus driver through some characters.
All NPCs in Season 7 and where to find them
Currently, there are 16 characters that you can encounter on the map. These are mostly old skins that you might remember from before – and with which you can now interact. But there are also new NPCs known from the Battle Pass of Season 7.

Which characters are particularly worthwhile?
Here we present 8 of the NPCs that are especially useful if you want to use their services. They stand out because they offer multiple abilities at once, sell strong weapons, or perform actions that can help you in the round.
However, keep in mind that visiting each NPC could be worthwhile depending on the situation, as they might offer exactly what you might need in this round. Some characters like Bunker-Jonesy should be visited anyway, as he has clues about the story – this is one of the secret changes you can find on the map in Season 7.
These characters are particularly worthwhile:
- Guggimon: Drops an epic scar upon elimination
- Sunny: Sells the epic shotgun, offers a tipping function for bus drivers
- Dreamflower: Can heal you, sells Slurp Mushrooms, bus driver tip
- Hayseed: Can heal you, object transformation
- The Scientist: Sells epic pistol and shadow tactical pistol, storm forecast
- Riot: Drops a heavy assault rifle (epic) upon elimination
- Rook: Sells rare sniper rifle and mini shield potions, order supply drop
- Doctor Slone: Drops mythic impulse rifle upon elimination
So, remember these characters when you are out in your next rounds, as they can provide you with some advantages. However, keep in mind that you have to pay the NPCs for their actions – some abilities or weapons can get quite expensive.
