What are the challenges about? This week the tasks are easy to accomplish. You need to deal damage to opponents while being a passenger in a vehicle, search chests, light campfires, and search between three special locations.
Free and paid: In the challenge weeks of Fortnite, there are 7 challenges. If you want to complete all of them, you have to get the Battle Pass. The pass costs 950 V-Bucks, which corresponds to a purchase price of €9.50. Without the pass, you can only complete the 3 free tasks from week 8.
All Challenges of Week 8 in Season 7
Challenge 1 – Place a crackling campfire or a bounce pad in different matches
This is how it’s done: You need to place 3 items. These can be campfires or bounce pads. The important thing is that you do this in 3 different matches.
Challenge 2 – Build Structures
This is how it’s done: This is a task that is usually completed passively while playing. You just need to create 250 building materials.
Challenge 3 – Search between a mysterious hatch, a giant stone woman, and a precarious flatbed truck

Challenge 4 – Phase 1: Visit Paradise Palms and Salty Springs in one match
This is how it’s done: The task is divided into 3 phases:
- Phase 1: Paradise Palms and Salty Springs
- Phase 2: Junk Junction and Loot Lake
- Phase 3: Haunted Hills and Wailing Woods
You need to complete all location pairings of the individual phases in one match. It is not allowed to visit Paradise Palms in one round and then go to Salty Springs in the next round. Both places must always be visited in one match.
Challenge 5 – Search 7 chests at Shifty Shafts or Lonely Lodge
This is how it’s done: The task is self-explanatory. Travel to these locations and search for chests there.
Challenge 6 – Deal damage to opponents while in a vehicle
This is how it’s done: Grab a vehicle, such as one of the planes, and shoot at the opponents. You need to cause 100 damage.
Challenge 7 – Eliminate 3 opponents with an explosive weapon
This is how it’s done: Just grab an explosive weapon and run around with it. It’s important that you use the explosive weapon for the killing blow, that is, the last shot to take down an opponent.
