In Fortnite, streamers are making their entrance. Several content creators are currently finding their way into the game – including Twitch streamer Pokimane.
This is how streamers land in the game: Pokimane is one of the most successful personalities on Twitch, especially in the Fortnite niche. Just recently, a young player almost fell off his chair when he landed in a match with her.
Now, like Fortnite star Ninja before her, Pokimane will be immortalized in the game. However, the streamer will not receive a skin like Ninja; instead, she will be featured as an emote in the game. This is based on a TikTok dance from the streamer and was officially announced by her on Twitter:
Will there also be a skin? The Pokimane fans in the comments are excited about the emote, which seems to pack eight different emotes into a single dance. However, there are also some who find the dance a bit over the top or cringeworthy. Especially in connection with other skins, it might look quite silly.
But the question about a skin for the streamer also often arises. After all, Ninja received one, which even has a hidden feature.
She explained that there won’t be a skin for now – but maybe in the future. For now, it would just be about the dance. In Fortnite, the “Icon Series” has been announced, in which more “top creators” are to be immortalized in the game. Who will be next?
