The current Season 11 (Chapter 2 Season 1) has been extended until early February. Actually, the season would have already ended, and many players do not know what they should do in Fortnite now.
6 Things You Can Do in Fortnite to Beat Boredom
We’ve put together a few tips on what you can do until the start of Season 12 so you definitely won’t get bored.
1. Complete Battle Pass and Additional Tasks
This season features several challenges you can complete, such as:
- Battle Pass Challenges
- Alter Ego Challenges
- Additional Objectives
Completing these tasks is particularly worthwhile to unlock cool Battle Pass Skins and styles. So if you still have tasks to complete, you can use the time until the next season effectively.
2. Winterfest Challenges and Gifts
Until January 7, 2020, you have a daily activity during the holiday season. The Winterfest event has started and brings several challenges and free rewards.
You can log in daily and open 1 of 14 free gifts in the holiday lodge, as well as unlock a challenge with the Christmas stocking.
The Winterfest challenges will also give you a few cool festive rewards.
3. Catch Mythic Goldfish
With the start of the new chapter, fishing has been introduced. You can catch some fish, including the mythic goldfish.
This goldfish is quite rare, and it takes time to catch it. So if you have a lot of time and are bored, why not try to catch the mythic goldfish?
If you find it, hit an opponent with it, or even get hit yourself, you will unlock an achievement.
4. Unlock Achievements
In the new chapter of Fortnite, you can now unlock achievements in the game through certain actions. While these do not give you rewards, they can be collected.
There are currently 43 achievements that you can unlock. Some you unlock randomly during gameplay. Others require preparation and are not so easy to achieve.
If you have enough time, you can try to unlock all 43 achievements to show off.
5. Invent Your Own Game Modes and Set Goals
If you’re feeling like a change, you can invent your own game modes or set specific goals.
You can also play the game differently, such as:
- Survive without weapons
- Use only a specific weapon
- Run across the map without encountering opponents
This not only brings variety and excitement to the game, but you can also learn from it. Use only a weapon that is challenging for you and learn to handle it. Find good positions to avoid confrontation.
6. Use Creative Mode
Another cool option to overcome boredom is Creative Mode. There you can do many things you wouldn’t normally do in the game.
Create your own island where you can invite your friends. You can even produce music.
In this YouTube video, you can see an example of a festive map with different game modes:
What you can also do in Creative Mode are various obstacle courses. These come in various variations, and there is something for everyone.
