What kind of game is it? The studio “One More Game” consists of team members who have worked on titles such as Warcraft, Diablo, StarCraft, and Guild Wars. This experience is expected to flow into the new title “Spellcraft”, which was first presented in spring 2022.
Spellcraft is set to become a competitive strategy game where you can pit heroes from different worlds against each other. The game is intended to be free-to-play and will be released on Steam, but there is no official launch date yet. However, the first alpha preview event is coming up soon.

What you can expect: According to “One More Game”, Spellcraft is supposed to feel new and fast. The developers describe it as a “Real-Time Tactics” game that requires both strategic thinking and quick decisions.

In the game, you are supposed to collect a variety of heroes and skillfully utilize their powers to defeat opponents. There are supposed to be “nearly endless” combination possibilities so that teams feel unique.
Furthermore, the developers explain that Spellcraft is intended to be a game for everyone, which is why they would follow the F2P route. However, they emphasize: “Spellcraft is a free-to-play game. We want the game to be fair for all players, so we avoid exploitative monetization systems. Our goal is to create a game that is not only free-to-play but also fair-to-play.”
