Battle Royale games like Call of Duty: Warzone 2 are optimal playgrounds for Twitch streamers who enjoy tough challenges. Currently, some streamers are attempting a mammoth task – they want to blow up the map with a nuke without firing a single shot.
In Call of Duty, a nuke, an atomic bomb, is the ultimate reward for strong gameplay. In the multiplayer of Modern Warfare 2, you have to achieve 30 kills in a row without dying.
Now, this killstreak is also available in Warzone 2 – but with similarly high requirements. You have to win 5 matches in a row, after which a special mission triggers that brings many disadvantages but ultimately allows map destruction via nuke.
This alone is already quite a bit of work. For Twitch streamers whose job is to play Warzone, it’s no longer a special feat.
That’s why the first streamers are now attempting the “No Bullet Nuke” – they want to detonate an atomic bomb without firing a single bullet.
CoD Warzone 2: Getting a nuke with the riot shield
How do you get a nuke? To secure the atomic bomb in Warzone 2, you need a lot of patience, especially given the current difficult technical situation. Many PC players are still reporting frequent game crashes.
Additionally, you need to complete the following tasks:
- Win 5 games in a row
- Activate the “Champions Quest” mission
- Collect 3 components and bring them to the nuke location
- Assemble the nuke within a timer using the components
- Defend the nuke location before defusing
Especially the 3 components cause stress. They make it so that all other players can see you on the map. Additionally, you regularly take damage, and your own map is disturbed.
Once you’ve collected all the parts, the event “Prison Break” starts, and all players who were supposed to be out of the match return.
If all components are in the bomb, it still needs to be defended. If someone defuses the device, all efforts were in vain.
How do you get a nuke without firing weapons? While the first steps are already difficult for a regular player to achieve, some Twitch streamers face even further challenges.
If you want to secure the nuke without firing weapons, the riot shield is practically a must. You also need a knife in your second hand as well as smoke grenades and other tactical equipment for support.
A typical combat scenario looks something like this:
The two streamers “BobbyPoffGaming” and “UnRationaL” tried it in a long stream for almost 12 hours. They activated the nuke mission 3 times but have so far failed against the resistance of the lobby.
At the moment, however, it’s only a matter of time before the ultimate challenge of CoD Warzone 2 is cracked. And then the next one will follow.
Streamers like to spice up their gameplay with crazy challenges that are nearly impossible for regular players to achieve. Especially battle royale games encourage this due to their sandbox nature.
