In Pokémon GO Snomnom and Mottineva will appear soon. But Mottineva will not be easy to get.
What’s going on in Pokémon GO? The event “Cuddly Buddy” starts on August 6 at 10:00 AM. It runs until August 12 at 8:00 PM.
What’s the highlight? This will likely be the debut of Snomnom and Mottineva. Both will appear in the game for the first time while the event is running and will also remain thereafter. However: It will not be easy to get both.
How do I catch Snomnom? Currently, there will be two options for that. During the event, it hatches from 7 km eggs, along with Galarian Porenta, Pam-Pam, and Knarbon. Additionally, it will appear in a free, limited-time research. After the event, it will then appear in 5 km eggs. So you have a good chance of getting a Snomnom. The problem is the evolution.
How do I get Mottineva? To get Mottineva, you will need to use 400 Snomnom candies. That’s quite a lot, especially since Snomnom can only hatch from eggs. So you should plan some good walks, as the hatching of a Snomnom is not guaranteed since there are other candidates in the eggs.
You can walk with Snomnom as your buddy to earn candies, or use rare candies. But, it’s clear: 400 candies is quite a lot to collect.
In addition to the two Pokémon, the event brings other content.
