Obtaining all achievements in a game is the stated goal of many players. However, some of the achievements are quite difficult to obtain. One particular achievement requires weeks of gameplay – those who achieve it can count themselves among an exclusive circle.
What are achievements all about? Many players play casually and notice how from time to time a notification appears somewhere at the edge of the screen: “Achievement unlocked,” or something similar.
Because a certain level has been completed, a boss has been defeated, or the end of the game has been reached. Such achievements are often on the way and just waiting to be unlocked sooner or later.
Things are different for achievements that not every player can simply get by playing through the game. Often, they are secret sections or records that need to be achieved. In Dragon’s Dogma 2 recently gained attention for an achievement that requires special charity.
Over the years, quite a few difficult achievements have been collected. One, however, requires particularly much effort. Furthermore, it belongs to a game that is already 18 years old: Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

You don’t have to do anything other than reach the top of the worldwide leaderboard. More precisely, to place 1st. That sounds not only tedious; it is indeed. First, you need a lot of time. Players who have tried this report a gameplay time of four to six weeks – if you play 24 hours a day.
This value only applied in the release years. Of course, more and more players have tried to reach this goal, and therefore it has become increasingly difficult to reach the top. It now takes over eight weeks, in some cases even up to six months.
The leaderboard works as follows: There is a scale from 1 to 25. You start at one and earn promotions through won matches that give you XP. The problem: If your opponents are four or more levels lower than you, the win does not count.
You cannot just play against bad players and cheat your way up. If you are too weak, better players will hold you back from progressing.
If you succeed, you belong to an exclusive circle
