A candidate from 7 vs. Wild suddenly feels very unwell at night. After the group notices no improvement, a Code Red is sent.

Who is it about? The new episode begins right with the emergency. The Luxembourg candidate LetsHugo is feeling unwell. He is coughing and spitting up mucus, even though everything was fine a few hours ago. Although he is shivering, he claims he is not cold: “I am not cold, I have this other shivering,” he says in the episode.
Survival expert Joe Vogel asks him important questions:
- “When did it start?”
- “Try to describe what it is […]”
- “Do you have mucus only in your throat?”
- “Does it taste weird?”
The candidate complains of severe heartburn, spits out mucus, and is shaking continuously. However, the situation suddenly worsens.
The Luxembourg contestant starts to cry, and his coughing intensifies. He now also complains of stomach pain. “Please, please press,” he pleads with the other participants. The other participants act immediately and send the Code Red.
In the morning and evening, the contestants send a Code Green, confirming that everything is fine.
A Code Yellow requests a pickup where no emergency exists.
A Code Red should only be sent when there is an immediate danger situation. It triggers the rescue chain immediately.

Rescue in the Middle of the Night
How does the rescue work? It is shortly after midnight in the operation center when the emergency call from LetsHugo’s emergency transmitter comes in. Fritz Meinecke tries to reach the group via satellite phone, but the reception is disturbed.
At the same time, a rescue team is already on the way to the contestants. Through the videos of the “Behind the Scenes” format, it is known that no confirmation is waited for in a Code Red.
The reception via the satellite phone could not be established, but the candidates manage to send a text message. In the SMS, they inform that LetsHugo needs to be rescued and that the situation is life-threatening.
The founders of the show, Fritz Meinecke, Johannes Hovekamp, and Maximilian Kovacs, are visibly worried as the rescue rushes to the contestant.
What does the rescue team on-site say? When the rescue team arrives on-site, LetsHugo complains of severe cramps in his stomach. A doctor examines the participant and then takes him with the rescue team to the operation center. From there, the contestant is taken directly to the hospital, with Fritz Meinecke by his side. However, there is no comment on his condition.

Should we be worried about LetsHugo? Although the situation was recent, the rescue apparently went well. The contestant reached the hospital quickly. Since he has since returned cheerfully after the time of 7 vs. Wild, he seems to have coped well with the situation.
