In For Honor, you can finish battles with executions. However, these are not for players with a weak heart.
As many fans of melee games would expect, there will also be brutal scenes and splattering blood in For Honor. And plenty of it. Especially during the executions, things get quite intense, ending the fight abruptly.
You can only perform executions on other heroes or elite enemies. The requirement is that you finish the duel with a heavy attack (on the PS4, you press R2 for this, on the Xbox RT). Then you have a short time to press one of the two buttons displayed on the screen, which will activate a special kill animation – the execution.

Each hero has their own executions, with quite a few ending with the enemy losing their head. The “Executions” must be unlocked and equipped first.
